Two schemes, two ways to buy sooner

Housing Australia administers both schemes, and they are available in Western Australia. Choose the one that fits your financial situation and home-buying goals.

Both schemes are available in Western Australia with generous price caps — $850,000 in the Perth metro area and $600,000 regionally.
Compare your options and see which one aligns with your financial situation and home‑buying goals.

  • 5% Deposit Scheme: 5% deposit (instead of the usual 20%) + government guarantee — no LMI
  • FHSS: Withdraws savings accumulated in super over several years
